Job Description:
Hudsonville Christian School is seeking candidates for the position of Administrative Principal beginning July 1, 2010. This is the top administrative position, responsible for supervising instruction, personnel, operations, facilities, and public relations in two buildings. These schools are on separate campuses a quarter of a mile apart. The Administrative Principal leads the Administrative Team, which includes the Elementary and Middle School Building Principals.
In 2009 Hudsonville Christian opened its doors for the 91st year for more than 900 students in preschool through grade 8. God has blessed Hudsonville Christian with a supportive community, outstanding parent involvement, and stable enrollment. The school is debt-free.
Hudsonville is located in western Michigan between Grand Rapids and Holland in a growing demographic area.
Hudsonville Christian School is a member of Eastern Ottawa Christian Schools (EOCS), a coalition of Unity Christian High School (Hudsonville) and the six elementary schools from which it draws students. All seven schools have separate boards and operations but work together in areas such as curriculum, professional development, and strategic planning. Hudsonville Christian School is also a member of Christian Schools International (CSI), an association of schools committed to the Reformed tradition of Christian education.
A summary statement from the recent accreditation renewal reads, "Hudsonville Christian School is a superb school that is doing great things for God's children.
